Default Another Newb from Ohio

Hey all,
I've been riding for 17yrs, have had crotch rockets, cruisers, dual sports, touring, and now I'm back to the rockets (midlife crisis?! I'll never admit it if so!). I bought a '99 Honda SuperHawk 996, which I have torn down this winter and have been fixing up (3 previous owners wrecked her) and painting and making a few one off parts for. Polished the frame, swingarm, wheels, gas cap.
I should have the paint done in about 2 weeks.....I hope! Been a long road, but going to be WELL worth the wait. Will attach a pic of tank so far, minus pin striping and drop shadow, and not clear coated yet. Also the seat cowl which has Harliquin paint for the 996.....changes colors depending on the angle of view. Still needs clearcoat also, kinda dull right now. A lot of other stuff to see, will post a few pics when back together.
I have 2 girls that show horses, I play sax in 4 different bands (blues, funk/ rock, jazz and big band), and then there's my real job, 12 hr days 4+ a week, so I'm kinda busy...lol
I love to ride, joined a local club last fall, and now am the Road Captain for it this year. I usually ride between 30-40,000 a year. I have an old Suzuki SP600 (only made in 1985) I use for bad weather, anything but ice. It has a Honda 400EX motor I had to put in it, since I cannot find parts for the old girl anymore. That was fun too..
I think that's plenty, look forward to some good topics on here.

Thanks for the replies. I've been doing some surfing, looks like a lot of good info on here, and everyone has fun. I think I'm gonna enjoy this site.
Thanks again,
