Default Greetings from Utah

Greetings all
Just reg, and thought I would introduce as requested :
I have been riding most of life, off and on, typical baby-boomer got back into bikes when kids got older. I have a teaching background in USAF tech school and also as tech instr with company i work with now, so i went thru the MSF training to be a RiderCoach 4 yrs ago and love teaching other to enjoy motorcycles.
We (my wife also rides anything) enjoy bikes so much we opened a motorcycle rental business in Salt Lake City also 4 yrs ago. We rent Harleys, GoldWings, and working on getting some metric cruiser so we offer variety.
Utah is a great place to ride, approx 5 hrs to YellowStone area, or 5 hrs south to Zion, Bryce, and Grand Canyon! Park City and Wasatch mountains are right here.
If anyone is headed out this way, give a shout. If you ride out, stop in, we love "talkin Ridin!" If you fly out and want a bike, we can arrange that as well!

Looking forward to learning more from all the experience around here!!
Cheers
Steve

Welcome to the forum Steve, hang around and share some of your experience. My daughter lives in Tooele, so I get out that way occasionally. I'm meeting her for a ride around Zion at the end of May.

Ride safe.

Welcome. I'm not sure how Harleys, 'Wings, and other cruisers amounts to "variety", though.

I've heard a great many times how often some of us would like to rent sport-tourers (VFR, FJR), or sporty standards (Bandit, FZ6/1). I'd be thrilled to go somewhere in this country and take my wife out for a day. It might be the only way we'd ever get to ride together far from home. But we won't be likely to do it on the bikes you mentioned. Just my .02.

Steve!

I'd be curious to see how many people would rent the M50 or any Suzuki if you had any.

Thanks Rowdy
We have actually been looking at the FJR. Not sure how well it would rent. The standards nationwide are harelys and Wings. Beyond that, you get into "specialty" riders. I would love to put up a sport touring machine, and we very well mite. Keep in touch,,and thanks!
Cheers

Thanks Snafu
We do get quite a few requests for "metric" cruisers or "anything besides a HD". Had a RoadStar the first couple years and it did fairly well. I think any cruiser VTX, Boulevards, or Stars will go well, and we hope to arrange for some of these soon.
Thanks again!!
Steve

BTW Rowdy
Looking forward to joining you and the other "Worlds Toughest Riders". Waiting on my IBA acceptance and Certificate for SaddleSore and Bun Burner. Did 'em last fall. Flew to Milwaukee and pick a stock Road King, and rode it back.
Cheers
