I'm new to this site and just wanted to say Hi. I am a begginner rider here in Oregon USA. I've only been riding since October and have less than 1000 miles under my belt. I look forward to learning from all of you out there with more experiance and words of wisdom. Thanks

being a new rider, have you given any thought to taking the MSF course?

Thanks for the advice. I have taken a three day course with TEAM Oregon. I found it to be really helpful. I ride a big bike only because at 6' 7" it was scarrier on a smaller bike than on the larger. I wouldn't dream of riding without my leathers though when I bought them I worried that people would think I was a poser with them. I ride the 06 vulcan with silver and blue paint. It is the classic with a few extras I added on. Again I appreciate the advice and look forward to learning more.
