|  hello from SOUTH Texas This is my first post so let me introduce myself. I am 51 years old, married with 4 sons. Three of them ride (one is brand new rider). The other won't even touch a motorcycle! I am a teacher and I love having summers off to ride. My bike is 06 Kawa Vulcan 500, which is great for me. I am only 5' 1" and I like being able to flat foot at stops. I first started riding at 17 years old and raced for a while in my younger days. I quit riding in late 80s and just got back on 2 years ago. My bike and I have over 16,000 miles and hope to log many more this summer. I just started reading the forums and I really enjoy the info. | welcome! i am 5'1" also and i ride a suzuki savage LS650. i chose it for being able to flat foot at stops as well.
