Default Hello from Canada

It's the first time that I have ever been on a forum, and hopefully I have done everything right. I'm not a mechanic so won't be able to help with any mechanical problems, but my husband is a terrific one. He has kept my 1983 650 Yamaha Maxum on the road and I have never had a problem. I love my bike and its worth a million dollars to me. What I will say, we have taken many trips, north to Elliot Lake, east to Nova Scotia etc. and in 2005 took a spontaneous trip to New York City. At that time he drove a 1979 Gold Wing, now he rides a 1983 Interstate - it broke his heart when he just couldn't fix the old girl. We never make reservations, seldom have a map when we leave , usually we have to pick one up on the way and only know which direction we are going, north, east or N.Y. Planning a trip to Nunavuk in a couple of years - really excited about it.
