Hey, how's it going? How far south are you? I've got friends that are in the New Philly area and they're occassionally in the Cadiz area.

Actually, I don't know anyone else here from Ohio.

Looks like you put a lot of work into it, and it looks nice, but without gauges, and turn signals, is that thing even street legal? And the exhaust doesn't just look loud, it looks like it could melt your rear tire.

I see.
I didn't mean to be accusing you of anything. That was just a question but it's hard to set the tone of your voice here. I should have added this

As Rickster mentioned. Aren't you worried that you will get in trouble with the authorities with no gages or turn signals?

The bike looks great, and it's easy to see that you put a lot of time into it. You have a right to be proud of your creation.

Problem is that it looks like a track bile, rather than one to be operated on public streets.

People on this forum, are going to look at, and address safety concerns every time.

the bike is totally street legal here in ohio. with the exhaust on!! it is more of a ratbike, it has been stripped to the bare essentials. there has been about 10 pounds of wiring removed. it is very easy for me to know how fast im going, ive been riding motorcycles for over 30 years. when im leading a pack of bikes my speed is within 5 miles of what i think im going. i have asked many riders if i was going the speed i thought i was and im usually right on. there is a very easy way to ride without turn signals, its called hand signals and it works better than some of the undertail and really small signals ive followed. the bike actually has rear turn signals but i usually just use my hands.if i were to put any gauges on it, it would be a tach only. there is nothing unsafe about it !!!

Every state is a little different, on what you need to be legal.

When I initiate my intention to turn, I use hand signals too, but It's still nice to have that light out there doing it's job, when your hand is busy with the clutch, and no mater how good you are, your still better with two hands on the bars.

I do agree with you about the really small signals that are so popular. A lot of riders are paying a real heavy price to be cool.

Your the one that's riding it, so it's good you feel it's safe, but for me it would need two rear view mirrors, regular size turn signals, (front, and rear), A nice loud horn, and a speedo.

FYI, loud exhaust does not make up for not having a horn.
