Talking Hello Everyone

Hey everyone. I'm new to this forum and just wanted to introduce myself. I知 from California and currently 20 years old. I had my first bike since 16... the 2002 Ninja 500R. Rides great, but I知 searching for a new bike and I wanted some opinions... I知 looking for a little more power (not TOO much), handles great, and good overall performance. I've been dealership hopping and saw some bikes that I was interested in...
- Suzuki GSX-R (gixxer) 600 ('07)
- Honda CBR600RR ('07)
- Yamaha YZF-R6S ('07)
and MAYBE even looking into the new Ninja ZX-6R (but not likely)
I知 not much of a bike enthusiast, but I LOVE riding. I mostly ride from school and back. Occasionally I値l ride down PCH (Pacific Coast Highway) during the summertime.
I'm a little overwhelmed with all these options... HELP ME!!
Any suggestions would be great! THANK YOU

Welcome, 'TRIC. You've pretty much listed the big four's racebike lineup. At that point it becomes less about the bike and more about you. Which one felt the best? Which one looks the best to you? Talking about performance at that level is splitting hairs, so go with your gut.

BTW, any of those deliver a LOT more power.

You should try and score a ride on one of the bikes you listed, because if you just want a little more power, you are going to be very surprised. All the bikes you listed are lots faster than your current mount. None of them will make you work to get the front wheel off the ground.

If it was me, I would be looking at a Suzuki SV650s, or if you prefer the naked look, try the SV650n. The SV 650's don't get the respect they deserve, because they will lose a drag race to any of the inline 600's, but in the twisties they keep up just fine. Go to a local track day, in that class, the SV 650 is almost always running the fastest lap times. One sweet handling bike, I really like the narrowness of the v twin motor.
