Default Greetings from Texas

Hi everyone. I live on the Texas Gulf Coast. I have been riding for a few months and ride a Yamaha V-Star 1100. So far I mostly ride locally with a few overnight trips. I plan on doing a trip this spring, either to Colorado or the Ozarks. always looking for tips from more experienced riders.

The Ozarks are great, the EurekaSprings,AR. area is nice, it offers lake veiw twisty hilly drag your floor board kind of curves. There is also the "Pig tail trail" near by. From my house it is an all of 12hr trip there and back on the Pig tail trail if you dont stop except for gas.

You are right about both the drivers and the smell. Sometimes I think all the drivers around here are blind and/or stupid. As for the smell, it's not so bad. Of course I work in one of those chemical plants and haven't smelled anything since the Carter administration. Around here they say that's the smell of money.

Thanks for the welcome everyone.
