|  Hello from South Carolina...
I just joined the forum today after having been lurking for a while and reading some of the older posts. I like this forum because members seem to be so nice when posting..(no flaming, etc.) I just bought a used 2001 Suzuki Intruder 1500 with 3,500 mi. on it. Man, is it a comfortable machine! And so quiet! I just sold an old iron head Sportster (bored/stroked to 1200cc), with straight pipes. The difference in decibel level is incredible...I'd really like to get a little louder sound from the engine, but i don't want to spend big bucks for a new exhaust system, either. With that in mind, my question to other owners of the "Loung Chair" 1500 is: If I de-baffle the stock mufflers, what do i need to do to the carbs as far a re-jetting? Are there any specific after-market jets anyone recommends? Thanks in advance for any and all information! Ya'll keep the shiny side UP! ...dan  |
