| The bike sounds good...there is one interesting thing...33 views since my posting and only one comment about the gear....if this video was of a slightly younger person on a sportbike, the whole motorcycle-journal community would be screaming "squid"...dont get me wrong here CTLawyer, I enjoyed the video, as i do most videos involving anything motorcycle-related, especially the M50, so with that said, all I'm saying is there is a double standard here. |

| I was on a vacant road riding well within my abilites (and not too much over the speed limit). As for the helmet thing, well that's played out. I have been riding for a long time and have over 10,000 miles under my belt with only one wreck over twenty years ago, and that was jumping a dirt bike onto gravel (not smart). I ain't no squid IMHO, but if anyone wants to flame me for having some fun let them. Who cares. It's only the internet!

| Because Squids make the rest of us look bad. The general publics' only real issue with cruiser riders is the loud pipes (that's another discussion), but reckless riders on flashy sport bikes get a lot of bad press (most deserved, some not-IMHO). Now I've only been a member here a few months so I don't have the right to talk for others, but it seems to me that most of the squid bashing is towards newbies want to ride race bikes as their 1st bikes-just dumb-most of them wear helmets, and alot wear full gear (matching race team leathers) but alot don't. A kid (18yo) at work bought himself a Ninja 636 as his first bike and always wears a helmet, but also t-shirt, shorts, and sandles while regularly doing 100+mph-that's a squid, and I've told him so. By the way he's already had 2 wrecks.
