i just replaced mine with one of the suzuki gel seats. I had to find on ebay since they are discontinued but so far it seems pretty good.

My stock seat is omforatble for me, but the passenger seat SUCKS! I feel sorry for anyone who wants to ride with me. I put on a sissy bar/pad and that helped. Tried a gel seat which made the bike too tall and it was harder than a rock, so I sent it back. I am still trying to figure out what to do to make it safer for the passenger. I've got a couple ideas, so I guess I'll have to experiment.

Stock seat is good for short trips but I think a longer one would be tiring on the tail. I voted based on no long trips with this bike.

The seat is ok for short trips except you sit UPON it, not IN it. I like a seat that makes you feel one with the bike.

The stock seat was makin' my ass numb. The Mustang seat feels great! Probably could ride to the end of the earth with it.

I still have the stock seat...and yeah after about an hour or two...my butt freaking hurts. Although...after the 4k miles I just got her up to...it's better than when I started riding her. So, I'm sure it's something which I will get used to...but I'll still pick up a ButtBuffer at the bike meet in October.

Hey, I'm old and if I don't pamper myself...who will?

Corbin, at first it was hard as a brick, but now that it's broke in all day rides are not a problem.

I have the stock seat. My butt would be sore after an hour. I would rest for about 10 min and get back on. that would be good for about another hour. So on and so on. I now have 2000 miles on the seat and I'm good for about 2 hours. Still seeing a mustang in the near future, if they make one.
