Haven't taken anything but the riding test after ALOT of practice. I have the MSF course on my mind though.....see if there's any pointers I haven't picked up on.

I took the Basic Riding course in June, bought a new bike in July. I hope to take the advanced course next summer. After that? I don't know. Should I take the advanced course over and over again as a refresher?

I voted for the first one. I took the BRC last June. I have the ERC coming up on 10 Sep and I plan on taking it annually.

I took the test for the 1st time in July...passed...yay! I started riding in April. I highly recommend the course to all levels. The instructors I had were great, the course was well-designed and the scheduling was flexible...oh yea & since I live in PA it was free (for once I appreciate my fees at work)!

Couldn't vote. You should have another category. I taught it for the State of NH for 10 years. You enthusiasts out there ought to consider becomimg instructors. Where do you think they get them? |
