Been riding a week. I'm as new as new can be. Hoping to learn as much as possible on the streets and from experienced riders on this site. Taking it slow and steady.

I would have to consider myself an average rider. No twisty roads around here to hone my skills. Rossi would curse my name, but it's because I ride a HARLEY!!!

Including my two months with the learners permit, still only 17 months.

8600 Miles on the Volusia
Around 800-1000 miles on the 82 Kawi 440 LTD I learned on

I'm certainly still picking up skills, so I put myself in the "comfy" range, Not comfortable enough to take things for granted, but comfortable enough that I spend my time looking out for who's out to get me instead of worrying about whether I can handle my bike. That part I'm getting pretty good at, although Rossi has NO worries from my Voluisa!

This is my sixth bike, been riding a little over a year on my current bike-(2600 mi) after a 16 year lay off. I'm in the "comfy" zone. Pushing myself in certain area's to improve my skills. Enjoying a cruise without total fear of dropping the bike. Still regret bike manuvering is below standard due to my short stature.

I'd have to say I'm in the 61-70% range. It's hard to get much more agressive than that on a cruiser.

I put myself in the 70-80%. I drive the speedlimit (Maybe a little faster). On straights I drive slow but corners I double the cautionary (with descretion). I don't exactly drag my knee on the road but I have dragged my knee on the track.

Been riding for a little over 4 years.
I have about 30-32,000 miles under my belt.

I picked the average rider, not real sure which one I should pick.

I have been riding since 1984.
I have riden around 90,000 miles, 1076 in one day.
I have owned seven motorcycles, the Kat twice.

I have days that I can corner the big Kat nicely & get thumbs up from other riders who are obviously better at it than I.

Rate myself: Probably in the 70-80% range

How long you've been riding: More than 30 years

How many miles (approximately) ridden:
Including track miles maybe 150K. . .

Previously owned bikes include: Bunches of Hondas (50/90/160/350/500), Almost as many Yamahas (R5s/RDs/TR&TZs), a lone Kawasaki (Z), a couple of Suzuki' (T250&500), a lone BMW (K1100LT), a CZ, a Ducati or two, a Meguro and some I'm sure I don't remember!

"Other Experience"
Some AFM & AMA & FIM roadracing when I was a bit younger.

I've had 3 bikes over a 35 year period -- learned on a 90cc dirt bike in the 70's, bought a Yamaha 750 in the mid 80's (which I laid down on a wet curve one afternoon), and now this one (C50) which I've had for 2 months and ~500 miles. I've only just begun the journey -- I hope.

I was going to put Comfy, but I have alot to learn. so therefore I am Getting Better. I feel like I learn something new everyday. I am on my first bike been riding since this Janurary. I have just about 1000 miles on it. I love riding, it is like I have been looking for this my whole life. (sappy movie line time) "You complete me."

60-70%- apex strafer.

Fourth year riding, second bike, a lot of commuting on freeway and normal streets. Probably close to 16,000 miles under my belt, and plenty of twisty canyon roads nearby to play on.

I took an MSF course from the get-go, read "Proficient Motorcycling" twice and also have the book "Total Control."

It's full gear, full time for me, and though I have yet to actually scrape a knee I get pretty close sometimes. No hurry, though; I'd rather get there slowly than have it freak me out and lowside. Smooth and in control feels so much better than top speed!

Enjoying every minute of it, though!

Beginner Corner Carver.

1.5 years of riding time, about 10,000km
a) 1992 Kawasaki EX500 (where I learnt to lean way low with the hips slightly shifted into the curve and the knee hanging down in an aggressive curve. No knee dragging though)
b) 2006 Suzuki M50, on which I regularly enjoy scraping the pegs at stock ride height

I took a 10 year break from motorcycles. I got married, sold my EX500, sold my race car, bought a house, had 3 kids then went freakin' ballistic when I saw the M50 and bought one this year!
