| Love my C50T and the experience of customizing it bit by bit. It offers everything I want in a bike - for now. Like my riding instructor said "there is no such thing as a bad motorcycle". I'm sure most of us enjoy what we have, especially when it comes to our personal machines. |

I voted yes if I were looking for my first bike again (Suzuki M50). However, I would not add a second one if I had the first, rather I would buy a different type of bike so depending on my mood I could choose what I want to ride. I'd consider a SV650S/1000S, Ninja 650 or a Daytona 675 would be in order if I wanted to go sporty. Honda ST1300, BMW R 1200ST or a Triumph Sprint ST if I wanted sport touring. As for cruisers/standard again, I'd consider a Rocket III, Scrambler 900 or possibly a M109R. Too many good choices... Edit: Thinking about this more, there are few if any cruisers that I'd consider other than perhaps the Rocket III if I still had a cruiser in the garage. Hmmmmm..... I love my Bandit but I voted no. If had to buy another bike right now it would be a Triumph Speed Triple. May as well change it up since there's no way I am getting rid of the Bandit I may as well get something different.

I voted yes, I am pretty sure I would buy the M50. But that's not an unqualified yes is it? I could have looked around more and considered two basic options: 1) looked at standard bikes and maybe have considered the Wee-Strom....but then again thats a lot of bike for a Noobe rider. 2) looked at a used, older bike, mostly because of the depreciation in value. Still, I am completely satisfied with the Mighty Mighty M50.

Though I love my bike, I would like more power and weight. I'd either go for the C90T or a comparable Japanese bike: Honda VTX1800; Kawasaki 1500 Drifter or 1600 Nomad; Yamaha Roadstar.... something along those lines. Just my "druthers"... Daryl

I'm not sure I'd enjoy the ride on a super-sized cruiser, my C50 is fun to pilot through the twisty roads and light enough to be fun to ride. On Saturday however I did ride with a friend's dad who had just sold his V-Star 1100 and was riding his new Stratoliner. He did very well swerving through the twisty stiff around Red River Gorge and the bike is drop dead gorgeous in person. Oh well, too much $$$$ for me right now...

indeed i did buy the same bike, and would again tomorrow. there were lots of things to consider and all things being equal i decided to stick with what i knew. i dont need more cc or horsepower to enjoy the bike, the bike is enough. |

I voted yes. My M50 was the right bike to choose...It's my main commuting vehicle...and looks darn good doing it. But, I still like a lot of other bikes. However, I needed something economical and good for commuting...the M fits this scenario very well. |

When I bought the C50 in 2005 there were no other bikes that offered what I was looking for with a decent price. However, the Kaw's new 900 might have put up a good debate.

THough I compared a ton of features & specs to make my choice, and I really do love my ZZR600, I might be tempted to spend the extra $$$ and get something a little better. I miss fuel injection, mostly, but it was the trade-off I chose to make in order to get fully adjustable suspension and a full fairing.

It just so happens that the thread was only mostly dead. There's a big difference between mostly dead and all dead. Mostly dead is slightly alive. With all dead, well, with all dead there's usually only one thing you can do. | |
