Windshield

Having a long torso, I haven't found one that really does the job well. I can raise the OEM to near the right height but then I get a bunch of air coming up from under it and over the tank !

I know install lowers......... Dam those things look cheesy.

Other than that I wouldn't buy a bike that required changing more than a $100 worth of stuff on, if you have to mod it out that much then you didn't choose the right bike.

Oh yeah ! I know, everybody wants to personalize it by putting all the same add-ons as everybody else ???????? I have about the most singular Volusia I've seen, because it's stock !!!!!!!!

I love my bike the way it is right and wouldn't change anything. (maybe the little clickety noise I'm having right noise...)

An Ohlin shock and forks would be a welcome addition.

The wheels on the C50 are ok. I could live with them if there are no other choices.
I just wish the C90 wheels would fit on the C50.

The first things that I changed were to add engine protector bars and to replace the stock mirrors with bar-end mirrors.

Ask Dale to point you to the picture of his RED Gixxer with bar-end mirrors.

You might take a look at the mirrors in these pics. They actually work, you can see behind you! They don't vibrate. They have dozens of positions to set in and are easily repositioned on the go. Made by Napolean. $25.00 each, well 3 years ago. Maybe more today.

Bigger tank, hydraulic valves, and a horn that doesn't sound like a loud bee!
