I am perfectly happy with my limited...at least for the time being. In an ideal situation, I would prefer tubeless tires and cast wheels. The other thing on my Suzuki wishlist would be rear disc brakes.

I think I would get rid of the floorboards and heel-toe shifter, I'm still having trouble getting used to them. Oh and replace my non-existant fender with one that has mass and volume and such.

On my M50, I would change the flasher indicator positions from the tank to the handlbars or at least on top of the speedometer ... I keep forgetting to turn off the dern signal!

On my c50t -
I agree with others who could use a 6th gear for the highway. I also wish some of the chromed plastic parts were chromed metal. The saddle bag mounting hardware is cheap and rusting so I'll have to replace that. Which also brings me to the wish that the helmet mount had been relocated from it's now inaccessable location at the factory when the bags were installed. A heavier vinyl - or leather - on the seats would also be nice, and probably something I'll do a little later on. I really like the way it rides and handles up to about 65mph with good power for the type of bike it is. 65-75 just starts to feel a little loose and over 75 it begins to feel a little unstable. Maybe this has to do with the size and shape of the windshield, but since the windshield does such a good job at the lower speeds and looks nice with the rest of the lines of the bike, it's something I can live with. An additional brake caliper on the front might be a nice thing since I'm one to use the front about 70-80%. I'm still trying to get use to the flooboards hitting a lot - maybe about an inch more height would have been nice. Even though they pivot up it would be nice it there was a little more lean possible before they begin to scrape. I'm really happy with the instrumentation and although I've heard some mention that they'd like a tach and other things I'm satisfied with what it already has.

Did I mention a windshield wiper? -- just kidding

How 'bout auto-pilot for those LONG rides? Do they make those for a 2003 Marauder?

Disc rear brake instead of a drum...argh i know it looks "cleaner" with a drum but id like to have more stopping power. heck dual discs up front too while you're at it. Other than that, I suppose the exhaust note...sorta weak sauce, but I can remedy that myself. And reaching into fantasy land, dual lenses with a HID low beam and separate halogen high beam all built into one housing and led signal lights and a digital sweeper tach would be cool (s2000 style but one that sorta wraps around the outer edge of the speedo...how trick would that be). But yeah a high intensity discharge lighting setup on a cruiser would be pure bad arse...

On my C50, I would like to see a better aftermarket seat that is made for distance riding comfort. It will have to be custom, nobody makes a Vol / C50 seat that has a decent passenger seat. I'd like to have the speedo up on the handlebars where it is easier to see, along with a tach. Cast wheels and tubeless tires would be nice. A really good horn.

But the C50 makes me pretty happy, I have added some stuff to make it fit my needs better. Windshield, hard bags, passenger floorboards, backrest and rack, basic stuff.

Now that I have some miles on mine, a spedometer where it is more eaisily seen would be nice. A rear disk brake and a removable drivers backrest. And some chrome cast wheels.

Dual front disk brakes, single rear disk brakes, and a 6-speed gearbox. Oh yeah, also a cute 2-up partner of the female persuasion.

Already changed the seat bought bags and a widshield. Also plan to add a sissy bar when I find one that will not detract from the looks, too much. So why not buy a C90t? I dont like the clasic styling of the fat fenders. When in the mood I can remove the bags, the windshield, and the passenger seat. and the bike looks meannnnnnn.
