We have a MSF program that runs just blocks from my house. I've been debating whether I can afford the time commitment.

No MSF up here, instructors are full time professional teachers working for gvt accredited schools so that option isn't available. They usually double as riding/driving instructors to get the full time status.

We don't have anything like the MSF in Switzerland. Just driving instructors with a license to offer motorcycle training. The commitment is about $15,000 to get the instructor license, and then several thousand more each year to attend trainings and such (to keep current on traffic laws and new training techniques). Nope, not worth it unless you plan on opening a driving school.
