|  Do you protect your knees?
So... it is a pain sometimes but I have always worn knee protection since I crashed and scarred my left knee so badly a year or so ago. I am curious how many of us also do this... ? I made mine from a CE rated knee armor that was in a pair of pants I bought because they were armored. The silly armor thing never did stay near my kneecap...and the pants were ugly...  So I bought a pair of simple elastic workman's knee cushions at a hardware store. Cut out the cheap cushion and shoved the CE armor piece into the slot. It holds nicely about half way ...and keeps the kneed cap cover right where it should be. They stay EXACTLY over my knee and shin the whole ride.... Now I wear this and my levis.... PS I know there is still lots of unprotected area in levis....I know |
