Default sport to cruiser

I just traded in my 2006 silver ninja 650r. Great bike better for sport touring, not really a full blown crotch rocket, the ninja designation should be changed but any ways I love sprt touring type bikes but not many into that where I live now so I started looking at cruisers and bought the V-Star 1300 Tourer and absolutely love it. I am 6'3" 200 pounds and it fits great. I wish I could afford a new Beemer sport touring type like the 1200rs gt or something big like that. The Kawasaki 650r was comfortable for about 100 miles at a whack and I was really pushing the bike. I really should've bought a little bigger sport bike but now I like the cruiser I got. Next bike will be a KLR 650. The V-Star is part of the family and will keep this one. Any new bikes will take up residence in the garage and the wife's mini van will have to soak up the sun in the driveway. I really need several bikes.

I couldn't agree more. I went from cruiser (C50T) to a cruiser styled touring bike and love it. But I also always have my eyes open for a deal on the V-Strom 650. I've always wanted a sport tourer, and the new Concours looks right up my alley. Those are in addition to the RSV tho of course.

Ninja 500 -> Boulevard M50, but kept the Ninja and still ride it. Next bike will probably be a sport-tourer. Not sure what category that makes me, but I voted Sport -> Cruiser.

Why fix what is not broken for me. I feel kind of left out. I can't vote. I am going to go to my room now.

none of the above,

bought somebody's cheap old junk (well, not junk, just old) back 15 years ago and haven't changed course since.

and they tend to be cruiser-ish.

the scooter has nearly 52,000 miles on it, I don't plan to do much other than find out if it makes it to 53,000 miles.

Currently using semi-synthetic and oil consumption dropped way off.

Planning next year to go to full synthetic. That will be after two years of semi synthetic so the engine should be used to oil that doesn't break down into sludge after 2500 miles.

Default swap done here

I went from an 1986 Yamaha FJ 1200 sport tourer to a Suzuki m50. I was a die hard Yamaha owner for years. Rz350 (kenny roberts yellow/black) Rd 400, 86' Fazer, 83 Venture Royale.

I would trade my m50 for a pristine Fazer any day of the week. It had a nice riding position and Gobs and gobs of power. A true muscle bike in sheeps colthing.

The FZ6 and FZ1 are the "new" Fazers. One of my best buds calls his FZ a Fazer all the time. It has a nice ridding position, gobs of power, and handles 10x better than the old Fazer. Will have to admit though. I do have a soft spot for the old Fazers though. I am 40. Make me a bit reminecent.

They're actually labeled Fazers in Europe.
