I have not looked at this pole in a while. I am shocked by how many cruiser riders wear full face helmets. I would have never geussed that from what I see on the road. In fact many, many moons ago I had a cruiser for a short time and wore a full face. I had a lot of people tease me about it.

Yesterday afternoon my wife witnessed a motorcycle accident. She said that they were two large crusers and both ridders were wearing open face helmets. Although she saw it happen, she still could not figure out how it happend. Best she could figure was that the ridder to the left went to make a right and hit the one on his right. They were ridding side by side in town. Neither was hurt real bad. One did a face plant though and so his face was torn up. Just one more case for full face helmets. Well, that and know what your ridding partner is doing and leave enough room.

Default helmet?

I wear a half lid only because the law says I have to have a helmet. I also have an open faced one but I like the wind in my face and yes I have been down more than once due to some one else I just do not like the full face helmets (just me). I do how ever wear full leathers so go figure

Cruiser and full face. I have a half helmet, but the full face has better venting, so it's less sweaty than the half. When it's warm, I have a bad habit of riding with the faceshield up. I love the wind on my face. Only close it all the way when it's really cold.

I'm a member of ATGATT, and I don't think anything BUT a fullface is worth trying.

My helmet: Arai RX-7 Corsair Pedrosa

Both street and track, off course.

While I have been accused of being hard headed, I pretty sure the pavement is harder than my noggin so it is full face all the time.
