Default Where to buy gloves

I'm looking to buy a new pair of gloves. I looked at NewEnough but they ship via FedEx Ground which is terribly expensive when it gets to Canada (brokerage fees) ...

Maybe my Canadians friends can suggest stores on our side of the border.

oh wait anyone knows if I could have them shipped to a UPS Store. I just have to cross the border pick them up and ride back (although I'd have to cross the Ogdensburg metal bridge 2.4 KM long)

Louis
I just bought a pair of Icon Pursuit gloves, the perforated version, the
suggested south of the border is $49.99US, I bought local, at $69.99 Cdn.
I was worried about fit and it was good I tried here as the sizing is almost
2 sizes diff. than what I normally wear and what I bought last year.
I wear a 9, some times a medium or large, but on these I needed an extra large and they are snug across the palm.
They are available on E-bay and some state if you E-mail they will give you a better price. Dennis Kirk also has a good shipping. I like them enough to buy another pair without the perforations.

If they ship USPS, you do not get dinged a brokerage fee, if you pickup at post office a handling fee of $5 and taxes.

Thanks Bob. I'll go have a look at my local dealer for sizes.

NewEnough's site says: We are pleased to offer shipping by US Post Office International Parcel Post or UPS Worldwide Expedited. Isn't the Postal shipping fairly reasonable?

Sorry, NewEnough is one of my favorite vendors so I had to chime in...

Sweet then! Thanks for the added info. Now I just have to decide on which gloves I'll buy.

New enough: $24 USD for shipping using USPS!

This is a bit extreme...

Kev, Parts Canada doesn't sell to individuals as far as I know.

Parts Canada is the dealer supplier and that $69.95 is the suggested list that I paid.
My dealer did not carry or I would have got 15% off.

Louis check with your dealer, if he gives you a discount have him order in.

It must be "Screw the Canadians Day". That's pretty steep for shipping a pair of gloves.

You could pay $50 for UPS shipping! They really know how to celebrate StC Day.

They look good.

I see more riders every day with no gloves.
Has been the high 70's for last 2 days.

t-shirts, shorts, sandels, no gloves, full face helmet.

I like those. I've had a pair of Olympia gloves (400 Gel Street Gloves) for about three years now and they still look new. Not expensive, but very decent gloves. My Powertrip perf leather gel palm gloves have not been as good - the gel started oozing out...

Louis, even for the excessive shipping I'd still recommend NewEnough. They are one of my favorite vendors as well, and actually believe in customer service. Ordered a new pair of gloves and a pair of silk glove liners once... when the package arrived the liners were not in the box. Sent an email, quickly got a reply back acknowledging they had indeed made a mistake and they mailed the liners on next day delivery. That may not seem like much to some folks, but these days it seems pretty d@mned special to me.

look for gloves made by Napa Glove Company --- I have an insulated pair that is good down to the low 40's(my hands chilled at 40 and when the temp hit 38 they got cold) and a regular pair for summer riding -- I am very happy with them prices were 25 dollars and 12 dollars

I double checked the shipping. It's a little higher but not THAT extreme apaprently. Received two emails from them already. So far I'm pleasantly surprised by the service.
