| Hey STP, any word on the best defog yet? I have an RF1000, and generally like it, but here in my region, it is always so humid in the mornings, it immediately fogs up. Period. All shields are in place, properly. I have read all the threads about this, but have no info on the best solution to stop this. I generally ride with the shield up, currently, until the morning has past anyway. Often I ride with the visor cracked open a notch or so to prevent fogging.

| Another vote for RF1000. I like mine. Fits well, comfortable, wind noise doesn't seem bad - at least it's less than the 3/4 I had previously. Snug across the cheeks. The ventilation could be improved.

| Another positive vote here. I'll agree that under 50 I had some fog issues, but if I cracked the visor just a tad it seemed to be alot better. I'll add that I didn't have the antifog piece in place either... Been in a couple heavy downpours with it and my head was the only thing left dry. Mine went through TWO accidents! Its all beat up and ugly now, but it did exactly what it was supposed to do. Save my ass! It hit the ground at over 60mph both times. I have a brand new one still in the box ready to be used as soon as my crashed bike is back in action. I got mine through Competition Accessories: Home Page They were (might still be) having a sale. $302 shipped

| Uhh... you're supposed to replace any helmet that's been whacked. I'm sure there are many situations where it wouldn't matter, but....

| FogTech - Product Listing | HelmetHead Cycle Gear™ Has anyone used this product, FogTech, sold at HelmetHeadCycleGear? I watched their video, and it seemed to work quite well. I have problems with mine fogging unless I leave it cracked open a tiny bit. I have all the fog guards in place. I just ordered their helmet visor, in hopes I wont need the sunglasses for those early morning rides into the rising sun. Should be here by Thursday, will be trying it this weekend! doug |

| I bought a pinlock shield for my shoei RF1000 and all I can say is fogging problem solved. It was a pisser that I had to spend another 60 buck to make a 300+ dollar helmet better and by better I mean perfect Dan
