Some gear questions

Hi,

Just looking to get some more gear and have a few questions.

Currently I have the following:
- Shark Dark Spirit RSF3 helmet
- Berik leather jacket, shoulder and elbow protection included (CE approved)
- Prorider gauntlet leather gloves

Now I am looking for some other items.

For pants (all with CE protection), I have a choice of:
- leather (this might be a bit hot and uncomfortable?)
- gore-tex
- kevlar
- denim
- anything else?

So that's my first question...which pants? I am after all a recreational rider, calm sunny day, mellow cruise down the coast and back.

Second...do any of you wear any protection vests under your jackets? Back? Chest? This is what I was thinking about:
- Alpinestars SMX Bionic Vest
- Alpinestars Bionic Flak protection vest

Lastly, some decent riding boots...since I ride a cruiser style bike, I was looking for something like a Harley Davidson harness boot.
