Default Scorpion Hat Trick Jacket/Deuce pants.

I'm new to motorcycling...1st year, about 5000km's/4000 miles or so in.
Anyway...as frugal as I am, I decided to bite the bullet & buy some decent riding gear. Bottom line: it was money well spent!!

I live in Ontario Canada...the weather here can make for a short riding season without good gear. After much consideration...leather vs textile, this brand vs that...I went with the Scorpion Hat Trick Jacket & Deuce pants, without disappointment! When it's cold & I'm properly layered, I'm warm...when it's hot out, I'm cool (although I have yet to experience an extremely hot day).
This 'outfit' clams to be 'waterproof'...I was skeptical @ best. Well....I just returned from a hour long ride on the highway in a downpour...100% dry!! except for my hands & feet...no fault of the jacket & pants.

Anyway...I guess the reason for this post is to encourage anyone who is thinking about making the investment in some decent gear to do so...it makes this hobby so much more enjoyable...even though it seems soooo expensive, it's a 'one time' cost.
