HA! wouldn't you like to know...

Normally I'm not clumsy; I have great balance (being in gymnastics when I was younger, and me liking to dance now in my older years). That being said, usually when I do bruise I tend to keep hitting that damnable spot again and again and again until I curse myself for being so habitual. It's like when you bite your lip and you keep biting accidentally over and over b/c it's in a stupid spot!

Well I'm guessing not......because if she already HAD knee pads, the bruise probably would have been covered before the second mishap.

While out in California May 29 2009 - June 08 2009 I bought {06-06-2009} me a new helmet.

HJC Sy-max 2 Flip-Up Modular Helmet {white in color}.
Internal, button operated, Retractable Sun Visor
Aerodynamic fiberglass shell with ABS/Polycarbonate alloy chin bar
Large eyeport opening for greater visibility
Dual-density lightweight styro liner
Single-button release allows chin bar/face shield to be opened with one hand
Flow-through ventilation system
Adjustable chin vent directs air upward across the inside of the shield to help prevent shield fogging
Removable pre-formed air guard deflects air away from the shield
DuPont Cool Max removable/washable liner , with mesh trim, channels moisture away from the skin
Removable padded ear panels to allow for communication system speakers and noise reduction
Nylon strap-retention band neatly secures chin strap
HJ-05 aerodynamic flush-mounted face shield
Approximately 3.5 lbs.
DOT-218 approved
