Well, it's in the mid-50's here today.

Pissing rain, and more rain on the way, but warm.

The "Watering Can Effect" is usually an indication something is wrong down there......You might want to see a doctor and get a shot or something like that!

If we're lucky, we may hit 0 F today.

In the metric world that's like -18, which sounds colder to me.

Got to try out my new helmet Sunday inbetween games. Nolan N-102. I like it, except for the exterior visor. It's too short. I spent a lot of time trying to see thru the small gap between the bottom of the visor and the top of my glasses. Unsafe. Thankfully it can be left up or removed completely (I did the latter). Going to see if a larger one is available.

The 110*f is usually July through early September and it never gets too hot to ride.

Remember, I'm from Wisconsin, we start to melt in the upper 90's.

Actually we just sweat like there's no tomorrow. By the gallon.

Hey REDLINE and allan4169, where were you guys a month ago for our Angeles Crest Highway Moonlight ride? It was a bit chilly up there, but a great ride thought up by Wookie. Keep an eye on the "rides/event" section for SoCal, we'd love to have more bikes join us.

As far as I'm concerned, it can go to 100 degrees starting tomorrow and stay that way the rest of the year. On another note, I saw another rider coming in to work. He had NO riding gear at all on, just Levi's, tennis shoes and a light windbreaker. No helmet either. It was dark, raining, foggy and 37 degrees. He was an old guy too. Geez..

This is what I get for complaining...rain until Monday, actually thankful we're getting it though. I did get a short ride in on Sunday after installing my exhaust system, it was low 50's. I went with the STAINTUNE as at this point there's not much else available. I was suprised at how well it was made & the ease of installation, sounds & looks great.
Hey SoCalCruisin, I'll keep an eye out for those rides. We enjoy the Crest even though the kamakazie riders scare the crap out of you from time to time, not to mention coming around a turn & finding them laying on the ground. Never done it at night though. Thanks for the invite.
At what point is one considered " AN OLD GUY" ??
