    Good morning! I've been reading the posting for several days and decided to join. I have already picked up several pieces of helpful information.

    I have an 08, 650 VStrom. I went into my local BMW dealer. The dealer also sells Suzuki's. I had intented to buy an R1200GS. However, I kept wandering back to the V Strom. In my opinion this bike is a great buy. I figure I'll keep it a few years and if I'm still enjoying riding as much as now I'll trade up or maybe not.
