i have a gs500 i picked it up on sunday and when starting it we had real trouble it took ten minutes and it back fired twice then we bumped it and it started but was very lumpy and wouldnt idle till it had warmed up a little when we finnally got it on the road it was not responsive and i struggle to pull of because it had no power when you get to about 6,000rpm it wakes up a little bit but not much on the motor way max speed was 60mph in 3rd gear if i changed gear it didnt have the power to pull its self the revs had to be kept high. i was told that the bike is only running on 1 cylinder due to being stood for the past 6 months i have taken the carbs off and cleaned them and no start i took the carbs off again and the left cylinder is full of petrol and the right is bone dry please help
