Default V-STAR heehee

Well here it is, my 2002 V-Star 650 sans front fender.

Sorry they seem so fuzzy, I think my hand was a bit shakey

Strip a few more items, cut the rear fender, and you'll have a 21'st century version of a bobber!

Very nice. I bet you can fit a lot of stuff on that fender rack.

I figure it will keep me from doing any 2up riding for a while which is just as well, so I think I'll keep it that way.

Had one very similar to yours on my Harley. All chrome and pretty. I loved it for strapping things down. And NOBODY pestered me for rides when I had it on.

Just got back from ride number 2. Went over to a friends house to show it off, because her husband has been talking up bikes a whole lot lately. She really wanted a ride, but naturally impossible w/out a pillion. I get bike and mention this to my G/F and she shows her first real interest in the bike, a bit pissed that I told our mutual friend that I would give her a ride before asking if she wanted one.

I think maybe that luggage rack is there to stay.

the bike looks nice, I'm biased toward the solo look myself! Sorry it took a while to respond, I missed this the first time around!

Is riding around with no front fender legal in your state? I know its illegal here.

My little V-Star got ressurected. Golly. Just to update a few things. I now do have a front fender that I bought off ebay. It's black like the rest of the bike but the striping doesn't match up. Front fender has red/silver while the tank and rear have blue/silver. If I decide to keep the bike next year and not go for something a bit sportier I may just get the whole works painted, who knows.

As to the legality of no front fender, well I really don't know. The couple of months I rode around on the bike where all LEO free, but that's no indicator.

I Hate riding 2up. Riding is a solo experience for me. I like to ride w/ groups once in a while, but passengers change the whole dynamic of the ride and make it much less fun.
