| Here's my 2005 Ducati 749 Dark: I did have 2004 model year, but Ducati North America saw it fit to replace it with this new one. It was either this or the Blue/Black Gixxer 750. I opted for the sexier one.

| See? That's why I like this site. You guys are too cool and don't have hang ups against other bikes. I personally love all bikes and respect all those who ride. Thanks all.

| i think i just wet my pants.... sweet ride!!as for going slower and ore money....sometimes it just isnt about the speed! example: i drive a 2004 Black rx8 with limo tinted windows. my friend went out and got a 2003 silver Dodge SRT-4 (neon on 'roids). He wants to race knowing it is faster than my car and he only spent half the money i did. which car would you rather drive though? |

As far as money's concerned, would you guys believe me if I told you I pay almost 600 a year LESS for the same coverage as I did with my 04 Gixxer 600? It would be almost a thousand less if I had gotten the Black/Blue Gixxer 750. Don't believe me? Get a quote from GEICO (Cycle Gard) and compare the difference between the two. I figure after a couple years, my Ducati would save me money. Not too shabby, huh? Ducati-n-8or doesn't sound as cool. Dark-N8R sounds better. Use the force Luke.

| I may have missed something along the line here, but when you say DNA opted to replace your '04 749 Dark with the '05 model.... huh? Was there a problem with your '04? Just curious.

| that cool you drive an 8 also...i love mine more and more even after a year of driving it. and you are correct, the SRT handling is horrible. he always talks about it. but he is 23 (im 32) and all he cares about is 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. |
