Okay, lesson number one (excerpt out of my book)
here's the break down (if you want to know about fines; comes later)

now of course there is always an exception to the rule and some of the super-highway listings can go higher or even lower (all listings)

And now to the 130 rule....
They say(the man, establishment etc...) over here that if you're on one of those very frequent sections of autobahn whereeee the speed is not limited
(over 120 kph) and you mess up make an accident maybe; that you were driving at a speed that was above your driving capabilities and/or the exsiting road and/or traffic conditions. (Notice all of the and/or's in this statement) by the way, my son had entered the 200kph club only 2 weeks after purchase of his machine...lucky guy
and yes in this area where I'm living there are a few(5-6-7--....) no restriction zones and yes at 100 kph+ it's enough to keep you awake and yes-siree in those sections where it goes up..everything gets a little blurry

20 mph; I would lose what little sense of sanity I have left if I had to drive that slow.

well if you consider the roads....alot of times it's logical to keep the speeds like they have it...

it goes back to that age old recipe...
where there was a trail now theres a road
where there was a hut now theres a house
where there was a alleyway now theres a street
etc....etc...etc...

you'll just have to remember.....in a way, civilization was well established here in europe before it was in the states. And all of those personal traits of mankind were carried right on along with that development....where un-used land is in abundance and man wishes to build something on it...He dosen't build with technology and materials from 600 to 900 years ago or?

Okay so the Intro for my Hometown roads project is complete..
Prepare and be watchful as to up-coming treads from yours truly....
I'm gonna try and load each exsiting tour separately(a seperate thread) in order to avoid duplication of topics and photos...something I've been able to figure out by past experience and well, sit back and enjoy.

Thanks, the gsf hometown-roads-germany-bandit-1200-48-medium-.jpg (Medium).jpg

So, the Kocher Tal is behind us and we're headed home...next twenty miles... no shots...Huh...well anyway
after being out and about you sometimes forget to do what you went for....
Actually I use the point of missing shots as an excuse to have to go back and ride these tours again... and then, doing it sometimes in a different order...hometown-roads-germany-weissenstein-09.08.09-15-medium-.jpg (Medium).jpg

I do not think that word means what you think it means ! (Inigo Montoya )

"Birthplace of the equillant to our George "

I cant find this word in dictionaries... this is a corruption of "equivalent"... yes?
