did a little research; apparently the german bunkers were much more "homey" than the british ones.

as if they knew from the outset that there would be a good deal of time living there.

and if you are Normandy, I believe there is still one mulberry on the beach slowly being eaten away by the sea.

The German bunkers were built by an army of slave labour, the British bunkers were built by a handful of "builders" assisted by troops trying to fight battles..
