Beats Me ..... Gives me a nice reason to ride out to some places and roads that otherwise I would never go to.

However, I think every small town should have one. Google Maps

I like the giant cow, that part of Canada, that region it produces more milk than 4 counties in Wisconsin? Or maybe 5?

btw, a county is roughly 36 townships, 6 x 6 each of which is roughly 6 miles by 6 miles.

kiddin' those are some great pictures.

St. Leon - Wind Farm

St. Leon Wind Energy is a 99 MW wind farm located approximately 150 kilometers southwest of Winnipeg in the town of St. Leon Manitoba. It is the first of its kind in the Province of Manitoba and one of the largest wind energy developments in Canada.

St. Leon Wind Energy utilizes 63 1.65 MW Vestas V82 Wind Turbine-Generators. The arctic model is in use to accommodate Manitoba’s winter climate. The turbines stand 80 meters tall, with a rotor diameter of 82 metres. Each turbine assembly weighs approximately 220 tonnes.

A single wind turbine-generator can generate up to 1.65 MW of power, with maximum capacity produced when wind speeds reach ten meters per second. The turbines start generating at a minimum wind speed of three metres per second, always turning at 14.4 rpm.

A 99 MW wind farm is capable of powering approximately 41,000 homes.

what bothers me about that steer, it's on a trailer.
