Default Latest Pic of your Bike

After spending a couple of evenings cleaning I finally got to take mine out for a spin today. Just wanted to show it off thought it would be nice if everybody could do the same. I know a lot of you have done mods over the winter.

Don't have a recent pic but I did make a video last Sunday. It was sunny, beautiful and approaching 40F. Tonight it is a whopping -10F and expected to get to -20F. Glad I did the start up and ride for about 50 miles. I know, now I have salt on my bike but thats OK I have time to tear down again and clean.

Hello all! I just stumbled across this forum and thought it would be nice to join so I could share my experiences, meet other Vol./c50 owners, and maybe get/give advice from time to time.

Here are some pics of my baby. She's an '03 Vol that I bought as salvage and rebuilt. I'll supply pics of before and after with the understanding that she's not done by a long shot. When I got her she had almost 5800 miles on her. The damage list reads as such:
*bent brake pedal- straightened
*hole in air cleaner cover- replaced
*bent handlebars- replaced
*2 dents in gas tank- pulled
*bent HL bracket- replaced
*mangled HL bezel- replaced
*missing fr TSig bracket- replaced
*cracked front fender- fixed
I did all repairs myself, except for pulling the dents, because I don't have a spot stud gun. I fixed the front fender by using a soldering iron and stitch-melting the crack together, both inside and out. I painted it, including masking off the flames.

And here is a list of mods I have done (also all done by me).
*car driving lights that look perfect
*Kuryakyn ISO grips and throttle boss
*custom mirrors
*chrome brake resurvoir cover
*chrome tank trim
*Vance & Hines Straightshots + jet kit
*Kuryakyn brake pedal and shifter covers
*custom leather tank panel (made by Lutz's Leather)
*Suzuki chrome ball-milled pivot-arm covers
*blue dot
*and LED's in the fr & rr fenders, behind HL, under the gas tank, and between the side covers.

I have custom bags, with flames to match the paint job, on order, and plan to do many more mods to her in the future (like strip it and color match the frame to the body).

I hope you all like it!

Salutations
Mark

Here she is right before a cold day ride. I just snapped the shot with my cell phone. Thought it was a pretty good picture. Currently my avatar.

Chris from the look on her face she doesn't look happy about something...

Was it the fact you took her pic? (does she know that it is now posted for all to see?

Was it because you made her wear chaps?

Or could it be, that you told her that she had to ride the practice pony before she could get on the bike?

Well for whatever reason remember this, you will fall asleep, waking is optional.
