Default Ride to work with me... part 4

16. Looking north up the Gareloch, taken from the same spot, in Shandon. Unfortunately the orographics have clamped to the mountains, so none of the "Arrocher Alps", Ben Arthur etc. are visible.

17. Looking north toward Garelochhead, (about three miles away) up the A814, this time we are at Gullybridge.

18. This is the South approach road to the Base, just off the A814, no futher photos allowed down here... sorry.

19. Touchdown! ready for another hard days work, as shown in a previous thread...

(Oh yeah, check out the Kevlar Jeans!)

Well, I hope you enjoyed your wee 9 miler, petty the weather wasn't really on our side but as I am sure you can imagine, on a nice day it is OUTSTANDING!

Nice shots. Can't find part one.

I worked at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for 10 years. I always envied the guys who got to go to Scotland on TDY. They seemed to have a good time, when they weren't working.

i was beginning to wonder if you were ever actually going to get to work, or if you'd end up in some small hamlet getting drunk for the rest of the day and complain about them English bastids.

reminds me of a short scene in Trainspotting where the guys are saying how it sucks to be living in Scotland, and it's worse that they are governed by the English (or something along those lines).
