Hi rbarrera. I've been told that the chrome rad cover that is made for the M50 doesn't fit. In fact, you have to use zap straps to secure it! The C50 cover fits like a glove. Check these links out, they may help, or at least give you more info.

Regarding the spoiler, Mavman has some experience with it. Use the search feature, or PM him. He struggled a bit with the install, but made it work in the end.

Here's a couple pics to show how the mounting brackets mount up- they are stood off the chrome fender mount by spacers, so they never come into contact with the bike.

Default Wide Levers installed

I took some shots of the forward controls and Kury Wide Levers...

Not sure how well these will show things, but the two additions really make things more comfortable...still need a better seat though. My tailbone keeps reminding me this is not a sofa cushion!

First post is of the levers/handlebar area...forward controls to follow! (Too many pics!!)

Default Nice ride, what is it?

Does the new S on the tank help?

Default Sweet Ride, Hutz

Hello Hutz,
I like what you've done to your M50 (gas tank, pipes...). How loud are those pipes? They look loud.

They are Cobra slash cuts. They were very loud without the baffles so I cut the stock baffles (shortened) to 6", about 1/2 of their original length and I really am happy with the sound. They are relatively quiet except during hard exceleration.
Thanks

Default Windshield

I purchased the windshield at

http://www.motorcycleonlinestore.com/inc/sdetail/605

It is a fork mounted sportshield that enables you to remove it quickly if so desired by just loosening for screws. Very easy to install and not so big that it takes away from the character of the bike. Very helpful guys too. Ask for Ron...he is very willing to help. Here's a picture of the fork mounted bracket assembly. Stay away from the handlebar mounted ones...no stability. Good Luck!

MAllen,

By the way, it's a Memphis Shades Pop Top...18"W x 16"H above headlight from motorcycleonlinestore.

Default M50 Suzi Backrest

Well, I broke down and purchased the Suzuki backrest. Tried for cheaper aftermarket but did not like the looks and build. Suzuki had me by the b*lls on this one.

Very nice bike and nice seat. I have to ask...Is that a different color blue I am seeing. Sort of looks like a deep navy blue?

The 05's are a deeper blue than the 06's.
