Well, maybe tomorrow will be a better day to ride. I went for my usual short ride today with some friends near Los Angeles. Normally 150 miles with this particular group. But they weren't starting until 9:00, not me. Got lots of miles in before meeting up with them at a remote cafe. Then they wanted to reverse the ride and it would have been about 150 miles.

Something made me want more miles! So I took off to the north solo. Before I knew it, I was exploring one new road after another, then hmmmm....I'm in Central California at the foothills of the Sierras. And the wife said call if you are out past noon. Uh oh! So I calll , she says have fun see ya tonight. Damn I have a great wife! It's just that one road leads to another and another and........ So I got my 500 plus miles today! Should hold me over till next weekend! But then tomorrow does promise to be another great day? Maybe another 150 mile ride is in order?

Now that is breaking it in gently! It will last two lifetimes at that rate! Bring it by for a weekend, I'll put a few miles on it for you!

I would love to go riding today but it is going to rain. I am not experienced enough with this bike to ride in the rain. (yet). SO, it is sitting in my garage. With 16 miles on it

Rain? What's that? It's sunny and warm here. 64 degrees, should reach the mid 90's today. But this is Southern California!

Yep be safe. Riding in the rain is not always worth it. Hopefully the weather improves soon so you can enjoy your new ride!
