|  oil addative/clutch problems..
I just changed the oil on my 1980 GS1000E with Pennzoil 10w40 and like I do with all my vehicles (cars) added an STP addative. On the shakedown run, with a cold engine, I noticed that the clutch didn't bite as before. I figure I have a wet type multiplate clutch (perhaps I am wrong?) and wonder if the addative has an adverse effect on the clutch operation. I know that the metal parts in the bike will enjoy the extra lubrication, but will the clutch just hate it??? Any advice? CJ |
