What is the difference between the 1981 RM80 piston and the 1983 RM80 piston?

One is made out of steel, and other is made out of iron mixed with carbon.




Iron mixed with carbon is steel.



Yep 2 years would be exactly the difrence.

Well you guys are real smart. I would never have figured that out myself. Let's see if you can figure this one out.Was the 83 water cooled? And if it is can the 83 piston interchange with the 81 which is air cooled?
