Question Fork seals

I bought a new seal for my front fork thats leaking, could anybody explain what would be the easiest way to put it on and where to put the fork oil. " I know on the forks but like is there a specific place or do I put it all over?

You REALLY need to get a manual. Also replace BOTH seals at once, not just one. Fork must be removed from the bike and entirely disassembled to replace the seal. While it is disassembled, you might as well clean all of the parts too. Be careful when sliding the seal over the tube. The seals are easily damaged, and you'll be doing it again.

There are also different amounts and weights of fork oil that each type of fork needs. Make sure that you get the correct type/weight for your bike. Oil must be measured before putting it in the fork tube. Too little and your forks will be spongy. Too much, and you'll blow your seals in short order, necessitating another rebuild. You might as well get some snap-ring pliers and PVC pipe or seal drivers too.
