Default New Tires

I just got a new rear tire. The shop that put it on for me didnt balance it though. Do you have to have them balanced. I havent had any trouble with it but it just sounded odd not to balance it.

Some guys say you don't really need to, especially if you limit your speed to legal. Personally, I don't chance vibration and the associated premature wear. I have them balanced. My dealer charges $15, wheel off, with balancing.
