Default Bandit/Hella headlight transplant complete.

As I've mentioned, I recently did a circle tour of Lake Superior, and found the stock headlights to be near suicidal. I got trapped in moose country after dark, and there but for the grace of logging trucks I went. I was furious and desperate for a solution after that experience, and I didn't want to settle for tacked-on driving lights or supposedly brighter bulbs at $20 each.

Here's my answer to a question that's been asked for years: What to do about the cheap, poorly focused stock projectors that accumulate black mystery dust like the woods collect my golf balls? This was the Achilles Heel of the Bandit, and it was a sport-touring trip wrecker. I wasn't going to leave town again without rectifying the problem.

I purchased a set of Hella 90mm halogen modules and retrofit them into the stock headlight housing, using the stock adjuster plates. The result was vastly superior lighting with stock-like adjustability and a factory appearance. Enjoy.
