98 gsxr750 I just adjusted the valves on my bike and i started it up and it ran fine, i took it for a ride, maybee about three miles then went home to put some more gas in it. When i went to start it again it cranked about a half a turn then stoped and the dash lights go out like its a dead battery untill i realease the starter button. the bike was fine when i was out and had no signs of wanting to stall. im going to check my power conections but does anyone know if incorect cam timing would cause this? Im pretty sure the timing is right on the money.i only had to go down 1 shim size on half of the valves and i double checked the clearence once i was done. |
