|  '81 GS550 No Spark on 1 coil???
I have an 81 GS 550L Suzuki that I just bought. It runs like crap. I first thought the Carbs. were out of adjustment. The 2 inner plugs were getting soaked with gas. I checked to see if the plugs were getting fire by pulling the plugs, attaching the plug wires to them and starting the motor. No spark to the plugs. The 2 outter plugs have plenty of spark. My question is, I checked current going to the coils and it is fine. No juice if coming out of the coil, so I would think the coil needs to be replaced? The 2 dead plugs are new and go to the same coil. Am I thinking correctly on having a bad coil, or could something else be the problem? Thanks, |
