Default Installing new GRIPS on my Gixxer6

I got my new grips today, and I figured they'd be an easy off-on install. There is a warning attached to it from the seller that says that the grips require lubrication to be installed.

"Do not try to twist the grips off after the install has been started, because this can cause the inner lining to separate and can cause the graphics to become distorted. You should only push with the palm of your hand over the hole and work the grip on to the throttle barrel. Certain GSXR models have a lip or ridge on the throttle barrel that needs to be cut off or filed down before attempting to install the grips."

I guess I understand all of those warnings, but the question is, what is the RIGHT way to install these grips? That warning doesn't serve as direction.

I'll wait for a few replies before attempting this myself. Thanks, folks.
