| I put on a set of Cobra Slash Outs on my bike (98 Marauder), Cobra suggests that the bike be rejetted. I have talked to a few shops and no one wants to do it. They all 3 said that you can adjust the carbs intead of rejetting. They said that the after market jets wear out in a few thousand miles and you will be doing it again. Is there any sense to this. I have pulled the plugs and it looks to me that its running a little lean.

| All lies, Jets dont wear out, no carb adjustment is going to replace a jet kit, and you don't NEED to re-jet. If you bike runs fine and your happy with it.. leave it alone. But if it pops on decel, or you think youd like a lil bit more power then go for it. Just make sure you take it to a shop that has a dyno, or is a Dynojet authorized shop.

| Ever see those bikes with the really blue pipes on 'em? Re-jet, man. Yer bike will be much happier and (depending on the situation) replacing pistons with a hole blown in 'em isn't real fun.
