|  Intruder seat interchange?? models?
Not totallly a mechanical question, but the other choices didn't seem logical either, so here goes - I have an 86 intruder vs700 and i hate the seat. my buddy had a 92 intruder 800 and his seat was much better. Before I had a chance to bring his over and take his seat off, he sold it, so I was never able to find the answer to this question: Will a seat from a later model 700/750/800 bolt on to my 86 700? I've been searching the internet and some places advertise the same seat to fit all three models up to 99 or 02. I really don't want to spend a bunch of money on a mustang seat...just want to upgrade to a newer style seat. I also have the same question for a gas tank. Would love to put a bigger 800 tank on my bike. Any help would be appreciated. I've tried calling some Suzuki parts places and some say they can swap and others say only 86-87 models. thanks for your time. |
