|  Yamaha Road Star 1600 My friend has a Yamaha Road Star Silverado 1600. He claims it is making a popping noise when he lets off the gas. Says it feels like it is coming apart. It has cobra(?) pipes. What will he need to get it running right? A jet kit?

| Yup, when you open up the exhaust you flow more air through the motor, which screws up the air-fuel mixture. Sometimes you can adjust the mixture screws, sometimes you need new jets.
