|  Oil leak - help
Bought a '97 Kat 600 about a month ago. Rode yesterday afternoon, and while parking at the end of the ride, noticed ... hey, what's this? ... damn, it's oil.   No flames please ..... I know I should have looked before going for the ride. Anyway, there's still a decent oil level in the sightglass. Spent a while trying to figure out where it's coming from. Looks like the leak is somewhere on the left; drips down from the front plastic under the exhaust pipes. Was able to remove 6 of the 7 screws holding the left fairing in place, but don't have all the correct size allenheads, so couldn't remove the 7th. Have not bumped anything, so have no idea what caused the leak. Any ideas? Help. |
