I have a 2002 650 v-star w/8800 miles during this mid summer I started getting a small vibration in the hand grips, foot pegs, seat and gas tank while riding it low or high speeds, I took it to 3 dealerships and 1 independent shop and they said it was normal, which is really hard to believe because when I bought it 2 years ago it ran real smooth. Now you can sit there and watch it run while idling and see the mirrors, hand grips, exhaust and rear fender vibrate, and also you can hear alot lot of engine noise (clanging) coming from the bottom of the v-twin jungs. Now when I ride it I get up to 60 mph and you can really feel the vibration and hear a wine in the engine. Could this be possible bad crank/rod bearings. I thank any and all for replys and your thought of mind. THX Dowells |
